Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-09-30

These terms are an agreement between you and DevOps Agent ("we", "us") for the service at devops-agent.io. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use it for a company, you confirm you may accept them for that company, and "you" includes it. Questions go to support@devops-agent.io.

1. The service

DevOps Agent is a web panel and an AI agent for Linux servers and cloud accounts. It connects over SSH and cloud APIs with credentials you give it, shows what it finds, and runs the commands you or your scheduled agents ask for.

The service is in beta. Features, limits, AI models and prices may change, and some features may be removed. We have no uptime guarantee during the beta.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account and under the team logins you create.
  • You must be 18 or over.
  • Tell us at support@devops-agent.io if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Servers and cloud accounts you connect

You may only connect servers, cloud accounts and services that you own or are authorised to manage, and only with credentials you are allowed to use. You are responsible for having that permission, including from any client whose servers you connect.

4. The AI agent and the changes it makes

The agent can be wrong. It can misread a situation, suggest the wrong fix, or run a command with effects you didn't expect.

  • Read mode only allows commands we classify as read-only. Execute mode asks for your Yes / No before each change. Auto-approve runs changes without asking, except the ones we classify as destructive. These are safeguards, not guarantees: the classification can miss a command.
  • Every command you approve, and every command that runs because you turned on Auto-approve or scheduled an agent, is your decision and your responsibility.
  • Read what the agent proposes before approving it, especially on production systems, and keep your own backups. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime or other damage caused by commands run on your systems.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

  • access systems you aren't authorised to access, or to scan, attack or disrupt any system or network;
  • store or send malware, spam, or unlawful content;
  • mine cryptocurrency or run heavy workloads through our infrastructure;
  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • get around plan limits, AI credit or rate limits, for example with multiple free accounts;
  • probe or test the security of our service without our written permission (we welcome reports at support@devops-agent.io);
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

6. Plans, AI credit and payment

The Free plan has the limits shown in Settings → Subscription. AI credit is an allowance for using our hosted models; it has no cash value, can't be transferred or refunded, and we may change how much is included. Using your own AI model runs on your key and under your agreement with that provider.

There are no payments during the beta. If you later choose a paid plan, its price, billing period and refund terms will be shown before you pay, and they form part of these terms.

7. Your content

You keep all rights to your data, files, prompts and the output of your servers ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. How we handle personal data is described there.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The service works with services we don't control, such as AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Jenkins and Grafana. Your use of them is governed by their terms, and we aren't responsible for them.

9. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account at support@devops-agent.io.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or our systems at risk, or that we are required by law to close. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to download your content. We may also end the service entirely, with at least 30 days' notice by email.

10. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and that AI output will be correct.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, however caused. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us against claims by third parties arising from your content, the systems you connect without authorisation, or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
