Add a member
Creating a login, choosing a role, and sending the person their sign-in details.
Before you start: you need the Team plan and the Owner or Admin role. Decide the role first — Roles takes two minutes and is the decision that matters.
Adding
Settings → Team → Add member.

Press save.
What you get back — shown once
The panel generates a 16-character password and shows it once, along with everything they need:
- the sign-in link,
https://<app>/login?team=<Account ID> - the Account ID (12 digits)
- their email
- the one-time password
Each has a copy button. Email these details sends them directly if email is configured, or tick the box when adding and it goes automatically.
If you close the dialog without saving the password anywhere, nothing is lost — use ⋮ → Reset password to generate a new one.
Why you never choose their password
You do not type it and you cannot read it back. That is deliberate: the activity log records that Priya restarted nginx, and that record only means something if Priya's password was never known to anyone else.
Their first sign-in forces them to choose a new one. Until they do, every part of the app refuses them.
Limiting to projects
An agency with five clients gives each engineer only their clients' projects. The others do not appear in their project picker at all, and the server refuses requests for them.
Leave it unticked and they see every project in the workspace.
The member list
Each row shows name, email, role, projects, AI credit used, last sign-in, and status:
- Waiting for first sign-in — created, not yet used
- Active
- Disabled — cannot sign in; history kept
The row menu

The Owner row and your own row have no menu — nobody changes the owner here, and you cannot change your own access.
After adding them
Send them Signing in as a team member. It covers the Account ID, the two tabs on the sign-in page, and the forced password change — the three things people get stuck on.
Leaving the Team plan
If the workspace stops being on the Team plan, member logins stop working. The panel warns you and says how many people are affected before the change is made.
